Inkjet Water-Slide Decal Paper
HPS manufactures and sells inkjet waterslide decal paper, along with a wide selection of other products including basic inkjet decal paper, economical gummed papers for the ceramics industry, and similar products such as our temporary tattoo paper for both inkjet and laser printers. Some of our other products include glow in the dark media, white and clear ultra cling media, white and clear static cling media all for both inkjet and laser printers. For printing bumper stickers or waterproof production labels on your inkjet printer try our white waterproof inkjet vinyl. Just a few of the other products we offer are glossy photo film, clear inkjet vinyl, and white inkjet vinyl all of which are self-adhesive. We are also a main distributor in the USA of flexible inkjet magnetic media. We offer inkjet magnetic paper in both glossy and matte finishes, along with pre die-cut sheets of magnetic inkjet business cards.

To make decorative waterslide decals using our IAS paper, use the Krylon Crystal Clear Spray. This product is readily available in Wal-Mart and other stores. You can also use other types of clear spray available at Home Depot. |

To make CLEAR/TRANSPARENT decals: The clear decals are made in the same way as the white decals with the following exceptions. 1) Use the CLEAR Decal fixative Let the first coat (the puddle) remain on the decal for about 20 seconds, gently moving the puddle around the decal for the first few seconds, then wait. Using the foam pad removed the excess fluid off and over the edge of the paper and onto a piece of cardboard, and then discard the cardboard. This leaves a thick and even coating on the image. Let the decal dry for at least a few hours, or overnight. A second coat might not even be necessary.
Applying the decal. Cut out the image with scissors. Dip in warm water (not hot). The paper will roll up and then straighten out again. When the film starts to loosen from the paper, place the paper on the substrate to be decorated, and slide the paper out from under the decal. Work out air bubbles with the decal squeegee and let dry. It is important to remove all water and air. DO NOT cut out the decal first and then apply the solution as the edges of the paper will absorb the liquid, making it impossible to later slide the decal off the paper.
